The Georgian is on the High Street in the historic market town of Haslemere, Surrey, GU27 2JY. Haslemere station is under a mile away, and sits on the Portsmouth to London Waterloo line. We have limited on-site parking available for hotel residents, and the Chestnut Avenue public car park is within easy access.

The Georgian has 13 bedrooms, including cosy and spacious doubles and twins. Due to the Grade II listing of our building, not all rooms are accessible. We have one fully accessible large double room, which is also our dog-friendly room. Some rooms can accommodate children in cot-beds.

Absolutely. With our location between the Surrey Hills and the South Downs National Park, there are a number of popular and scenic routes to enjoy, taking in historic architecture, woodland trails, picturesque villages and sweeping vistas. After a day in the fresh air, enjoy a well-deserved drink or dinner on the terrace.

The Supper & Stay Package is available all year round for guests who want everything taken care of. It includes dinner in The Georgian restaurant, a comfortable night in one of our hotel rooms and breakfast the following morning, all included in one price. It's a particularly popular choice for mid-week escapes, birthday celebrations and romantic weekends. Yes, The Georgian welcomes well-behaved dogs in our clubhouse, and in our dog-friendly bedroom. Dogs are made to feel as welcome as their owners, and the surrounding area offers outstanding walking.

The restaurant at The Georgian serves seasonal menus all day, from breakfast through to dinner. Afternoon Tea in one of our Igloos is a real treat, and booking in advance is essential. Sunday Lunch on the terrace is not to be missed, and booking is recommended.

The Georgian in Haslemere is around an hour from London Waterloo by train, making it a breeze to escape for an overnight stay or a mini-break in the country. Its prime location at the heart of the town puts boutique shopping on the doorstep, along with access to the local museum and theatre, and stunning countryside. There is also a café for lighter bites and post workout coffees, and a Summerhouse set right on the water’s edge for relaxed drinks and small plates.
